2. I'm seriously obsessed with socks right now. Two examples, and I've got a third pair drying on blockers and a fourth pair on the needles:
Pattern: Primavera Socks by Natalja (Ravelry link)
Yarn: Mountain Colors Bearfoot, 1 skein
Needles: size 1 dpn
Mods: knit these longer, as my dear friend and recipient of these socks wears boots a lot and needs tall socks. I also used a different heel.
Pattern: Nutkin Socks by Beth LaPensee
Yarn: Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock Stripe, about 1.5 skeins
Needles: size 1 dpn
Mods: none!
Soon to be Country Socks from Nancy Bush's Folk Socks, knit in absolutely BEAUTIFUL hand painted yarn by Gaslight Dyeworks.
